These modules usually indicate that a decent amount of background knowledge in the Major is required, so opt for these when introductory modules have been completed! 

Not for the Faint-Hearted

If you thought the 200-series got your adrenaline pumping then the 300-series is definitely going to be on tougher tides. These modules require a great deal of time and commitment, so choose wisely. Usually advised overly enthusiastic 2nd year, and for 3rd-year students.

One step closer to Graduation!

The highest level of modules in SMU, stay away till you've got enough experience to handle them - the best idea would be to bid for such modules only in your 3rd and 4th year!
